BIOS:

MICHAEL BUHLMAN - Originating from the SF Bay Area. USC Film School grad (BFA in screenwriting). UCLA Professional Program in Producing Certificate (2020). UCLA Extension Certificate in Independent Production (2023). With a background in screenwriting, script coverage, story analysis, and a recent 14-year career in film & TV test screenings and entertainment industry-related market research, strengths are story development, marketing analysis, and old-school film production.

He also co-wrote the screenplay for FATE (2025) a feature-length romantic time-travel mystery that recently finished filming in June 2024, directed by Jonathan Baker, starring Brandon Routh, Janet Montgomery, Harvey Keitel, Cheech Marin, Mena Suvari, Andrew McCarthy and Faye Dunaway.

KARLA BUHLMAN - An Air Force brat who lived all over the world in her youth. USC Film School and Communications major. Spent 30 years at Golden West Broadcasting / Gene Autry Entertainment, going from assistant work to eventually President of Gene Autry Entertainment. Specializes in licensing and contracts; film, music & tv restoration; social media on multiple platforms; and production in all media, including script supervision. 

She also had the honor of being the last personal assistant and right-hand-woman for everybody’s favorite “Singing Cowboy” during the latter years of his illustrious life.

Mission Statement & Goals:

With a belief that quality quirky-genre character-oriented feature film content can be made for low budgets, we’re looking to secure funding and produce an ongoing slate of PG-13 films with budgets at $3 million or less.
